Try running the appletviewer from the command line and pointing it to the same url that is opened in your browser. You needed a plug-in because your browser probably didn't come with a JVM that enables it to run applets. What I want to know is how to run the applet in the viewer?Īlso, why did I need the plugin to see the applet? ![]() I am able to see the applet in the browser after installing the plugin and using the html converter. When I run the HTML it automatically runs in my browser, it does not use the applet viewer. ![]() I have created a simple HelloWorld applet that has a corresponding HTML page with the applet tag.
